For most Solo builds it's a good idea to focus on as much attack rating, pen rating and hit rating. This is one of them.

DESCRIPTION

A beginner build revolving around hinders, intended to introduce you to synergy while providing you with a basic build that will work well through the earlier zones of the game.

HOW IT WORKS

Damage

It’s pretty straight forward! Despite having a ranged consumer and elite you are primarily melee. You will use escalation to build up resources and focus your consumers on a single target at a time. By making use of Molten Earth or Coldwave you will gain a buff that increases your critical hit chance by 10% for 8 seconds.

Try not to use both abilities around the same time in order to maximize the usefulness of Hot Head.

Survival

Illusion and Inevitability will provide you with a chance to avoid attacks entirely.

While Molten Earth and Coldwave are primarily used for Hot Head you can use them to deal a significant amount of damage in a short amount of time often taking down enemies without requiring the usage of Hot Head.

Any other survivability will occur entirely passively.

Pretty good guide so far, I got all the skills and passives you list above but that doesn’t come close to 141ap. What else did you get?

So, I’ve been using this build and LOVING it. I’m currently in the Savage Coast and I’ve been shredding everything beautifully (so far). Just got into Innsmouth Academy this morning. I was wondering at what point you recommend moving from Beginner Builds to Advanced Builds? Blue Mountain? Egypt? Beyond? What kind of skills would you recommend for switching this build from the “beginner” to “advanced” stage in the game?

I was also wondering if you have any Aux Weapon recommendations that go well with Chaos/Ele? Sorry for all the questions!
