Suggested Auxiliary Abilities
Ability Ability High damage single target attack for personal dps increase. Put an Augur signet on the Chainsaw.
Ability Ability Crack grants you another huge damage amplifier by reducing your enemies resistances by 200 (estimates at about 8% damage increase) and up to 1.5/3/4.5% damage on top of that for 3 seconds if you use a Binding signet in your whip.

DESCRIPTION

A simple yet highly effective Dungeon DPS build revolving around buffing a single consumer. This build is also good for the New York Raid.

HOW IT WORKS

This DPS build focuses on boosting its consumers as much as possible.

Momentum (Hammer damage Skill point tier) – Your Hammer abilities build up Momentum. When the Momentum count reaches 5, your next Hammer ability will deal more damage.

The general rotation is fairly simple,

Smash x5 (Builds Momentum to 5)
(Steel Echo, Master House)
Auxiliary weapon attack or sling blade
Molten Steel (consumes Momentum)
Dancing Blade (consumes Elemental Force)
(full momentum + Molten Steel)

Any time you use full momentum skip Auxiliary/sling blade.

    use grand slam for more dps (the additional hate is negligible), hard impact instead of closer :)

      The additional damage of Grand slam doesn’t benefit from additive buffs which results in it being less DPS than smash! EF dancing blade is a significant part of your DPS and bolstering both the damage of DB and Molten steel out weights smash & Molten steel. :)

        just parsed it in 3 minute fights and in long fights you seem to be right.
        46% dancing blade
        27% molten steel
        15% smash with average 812 dmg
        (closer responsible for around 5.5% dmg)

        vs.

        42% dancing blade
        30% molten steel
        16% grand slam with average 832 dmg (incl 10% buff)
        (hard impact responsible for around 4,5% dmg)
        with around 4% more dps overall

        I stand corrected. This result is very different from my experiences using Hammer/Fist though…
