This is an excellent build for doing missions alone or with friends. You can attack enemies from a distance and heal yourself with Leeching Frenzy. Exquisite Corpse also allows some additional healing if necessary, along with a reflection barrier.

If your penetration rating is low, you can replace Sudden Return with Dark Potency.

Suppresing Fire is a frenzy ability which activates the Leeching Frenzy passive, allowing you to convert part of the damage you deal into healing.

Gross Anatomy + Bloodsport

These two passive abilities is what makes this build so great. Bloodsport will place an affliction on your enemies whenever you attack successfully hits them. Gross Anatomy will make you hit your enemies an extra time for a nice amount of damage every time your afflictions on your targets are renewed or expired.

Leeching Frenzy

This passive ability will activate a leech buff whenever you use a Frenzy ability, which in this build is the Suppresing Fire builder and the Fire at Will consumer.

Exquisite Corpse

Use this ability if you need some additional healing. It will also put up a reflection barrier that contributes to dealing damage to your enemies.

This blood consumer is useful when you’re fighting against single strong enemies or bosses, but not so useful against packs of enemies.

  • Falcao

your rotation has exsanguinate but it’s not in your skills

    • Vikestart

Sorry about that! It should now correctly show “Bloodshot” instead :)

      • Falcao

        Awesome, thanks for the clarification

  • Martial

Is it working well for end-game solo content like Issue 10? What about scenarios and gate keeper? Thanks for your time.

    • Vikestart

Yes, great for all solo content. Should also work nicely in normal scenarios, but you should consider a different build for more difficult scenarios and the Gatekeeper :P

      • Martial

Ok thanks. It would be nice to have builds for scenarios, dungeons and gatekeeper based on that build (with Blood Magic and Assault Rifle). I don’t even know if it’s possible but I like that combo. I’m new to the game anyway so I will focus on this build first then probably on a dungeon ranged DPS build ^^ Thanks for the help.

(fail comment this one can be deleted)

  • Ghostwheel

What healing/damage ratio should you have for this build?

    • Vikestart

The ratio mentioned in the minimum stats panel :)

      This should be your goal:

      2200 ATTACK RATING
      1000 HEAL RATING
      350 HIT RATING

Adjust as you see fit and whatever suits your playstyle :)

  • BuLLZ3Y3

I’m a new player just starting out, and I really want to have an Assault Rifle as my primary attacking weapon. Is this the build for me? I really like the idea of Leeching Frenzy.

Also, how would you suggest starting out with this build? Should I start AR or Blood? And what skills should I prioritize first? Thanks for all your help!

    • Vikestart

If you’re a new player, this build is probably a little too expensive for you. It costs 862 Ability Points in total :)

Try this build out: or something similar :)

      • BuLLZ3Y3

I realized that after looking at the Skills involved. :(

Guess I’ll just use AR/Blood so I can get there quickly. Thanks for the reply!

Got another question for you. I’m making good headway into this build (Finally unlocked Leeching Frenzy) and I was looking through the passives, trying to get a good sense of where the synergy is so I could figure out my own decks eventually. So my question is, what do you think of Dark Potency? It seems like it would combo really well with Iron Maiden and Immortal Spirit. Maybe we could drop Elemental Force for it? I’m sure you’ve thought about this, so I just wanted to pick your brain!

I’m having a ton of fun spamming Suppressing Fire now! :D

    • Vikestart

Actually, Elemental Force isn’t optimal in this build, so I’ve replaced it with Sudden Return, which you should use instead (or Arterial Pulse).

You can use Dark Potency if your penetration rating is much lower than the recommended level, but if your penetration rating is high, it won’t really do much :P

  • Lunar Whaler

Does Bloodline really contribute much here? It doesn’t trigger Leeching Frenzy, and doesn’t seem like it’d be a HUGE damage upgrade from Suppressing Fire.

Would it be advisable to run a single target Rifle spender (e.g. Three-Round Burst) in its place? Or does it fill some niche that I’m missing?

    • MarkSaysThings

      I don’t get why either.

Maybe replace it with a blood aoe?

  • Richard Hufnagel

What would you replace Bloodline with? I really don’t see the purpose of it in this build? Do builds require both an aoe builder and a single target builder? If so then I guess that’s why.

  • iKirrahe

Bloodsport only procs Gross Anatomy when it applies an affliction, not when it stacks. Replace it with Shoot ‘Em Up to proc Gross on every Suppressing Fire.
