3-5k HP will allow you to effectively tank adds the tank didn't pick up on time or allow you to make mistakes without dying from doing so. The rest in heal rating. Initially you'll want about 500 crit rating and 200 or so crit power.

A basic Blood Healing build with an excessive amount of healing output while providing you and your team with mitigation through the use of barriers.



A decent replacement for Increased dosage, on fights with multiple targets or in general fights where tanks do a decent amount of DPS it may be better to make use of the leech effect provided by Shot of Anima.


While providing you with less healing than Out of the Woods this passive allows you to avoid some of the dangerous movement impairing effects (Possibly explosive as well) often seen in the nightmare difficulty dungeons.

Examples of such effects would be during Polaris 5, or most fights in Hell Eternal.


Start with building resources through blood shield prior to combat.
Cold Blooded produces a lot of Hate, use with caution.

Thanks to finish the movement and Insult to Injury every time you use bloodline you will gain 2 resources and have a good chance of applying Debilitate to your target (3% damage reduction up to 10 stacks) allowing you to use Exquisite corpse after every builder.

If you for any reason cannot attack a target switch to blood shield for the duration.

Tank getting low on Health – Shot of Anima/Cold Blooded

Group requires healing – Platoon/Cold Blooded

      No, you don’t use Bloodline for damage, only to build resources quickly.
