The Darkness War
This build makes it easy to counter enemies with AEGIS shields. With 2 builders, 2 single target consumer and 2 AoE consumers, and 1 impair it is ready for anything. Yes, leeching is wasted on the shields, but once you get them down, the sweet bliss that is self heal leeching will save you more often than not.
If you don’t have Destructive Override Module (see below) use this instead of Circulation.
Need more AoE? Swap Incision with this.
After the Kaidan mob nerf, things died too fast to bother me. With this as your elite passive, your QoL will rise as you don’t have to worry to much about impairs (Buckler Drones, Demons, Ghost Circles).
How it works
Equipping AEGIS controllers
From the start of Kaidan, always have one AEGIS controller on your Assault Rifle, and the two others on your blade. When you get the fourth, add it to your AR. This will allow for any AEGIS combination.
For well geared players, standing still with this deck is no issue. But as Kaidan is mostly about rapid AoEs, circle strafe will forever be your friend. If you’re in blues, don’t stand still. Ever.
Solo mobs: Either Dancing Blade or for ranged pull 3-5x Anima Shot + Three Round Burst.
Groups: Always One Blade Torrent, then choose if you need a Clearing the Path to take down the shields, or if you want to save it for when the shields go down. 3-5 Anima Shot + Fire at Will for ranged pulls.
Stunning Swirl is there for 2 reasons. First, to impair the cast called Psychic Renewal. Learn this now, not later, and life will become so much easier. Second, to give you breathing room if things get out of hand.
Destructive Override Module
This module is awesome. Not only will an impair caused by broken shield stop any attack they do, but it makes the barrier on Circulation trigger almost all the time.
