Attack of the Conquistador Cadavers is the fourth mission in the second Conquistador story chain "An Artefact Out of Time", ninth in the ♦️3 portion of the story, and ninth overall in the storyline. The previous mission is Expedition Into the Triangle and the following mission is Mysteries of the Sphere.

CALL FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION: We've received an SOS from the crew bringing back the artefact discovered in Jerónimo de Montejo's sunken ship. They report their vessel is held in place by creeping seaweed, that they have been bordered by the animate and bloated corpses of ancient seamen, and the dead are killing off the living. Jerónimo's old crew? Send an agent to engage the undead enemy. Priority one: retrieve the artefact. All other considerations are secondary. Crew is expendable. |
