A battered worker lies in the riverbed. There's no way to know if he died defending something, or simply got in someone's way. A giant lock looms in the distance. Beyond it, an exit out of the valley.

The mission "A Ghoulish Fate" rewards [Glyph Reward Bag] x 1, [Talisman Reward Bag] x 2, and [Weapon Reward Bag] x 1.
Tier 1
Task Description
Atenists are converging at the lock gates. The Marya have gone to great lengths to keep the horrors confined, but this is one major exit they may have missed...
Objective: Keep Cultist Sappers away from the gates
Kill 8 Sappers around the lock. Any of the cultist Sappers in the area will do, regardless of whether or not they're actively approaching the gate.

Tier 2
Task Description
A Filth-infected creature is posted at the gates, moaning for some invisible master to open them. It must not be given a chance to scratch and claw its way through.
Objective: Take Explosives from the lock door, and plant them near the Monstrosity
There are a number of [Explosives] attached to the lock door (225,300). Interact with one of the slabs of [Explosives] to take it from the door and place it into your Mission Inventory. There is also a trio of bundles on a crate (225,280) near the lock gate.
You can only carry up to 5 [Explosives].
Use [Explosives] when near the Monstrosity (225,300). Planted [Explosives] last for 5 minutes.

Plant 4 or more [Explosives] around the Monstrosity for good measure.

Objective: Use a Remote Detonator to stop the Monstrosity
Use a [Remote detonator] from either side of the canal [(235,290) or (235,305)] by the lock gate. A total of 4 [Explosives] must be planted near the Monstrosity in order to successfully use the [Remote detonator].

Using the [Remote detonator] will set the [Explosives] off. The resulting explosion is quick to destroy the Monstrosity in a vicious ball of fire.
