4. User Contributions

You confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to use and authorize us to use all User Contributions as described in these Terms.
  • Content Standards: User Contributions must not:

    • Contain any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation.
    • Contain any software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
  • License to TSW Database: By submitting User Contributions, you grant TSW Database a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such User Contributions in any media. This license is necessary for us to operate and promote TSW Database.
  • Monitoring and Removal: We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, review, edit, or remove any User Contributions at our sole discretion, for any reason, without notice.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Our Content: All content on TSW Database, excluding User Contributions and third-party game assets (see below), including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of TSW Database or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws.
  • Game-Related Content: All trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property rights related to Secret World Legends (e.g., game names, character names, game art, lore) are owned by Funcom and their licensors. TSW Database's use of such content is for informational and fan purposes only and does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
  • Restrictions: You may not use our intellectual property without our express written permission.

6. Donations and Patreon

  • Voluntary Support: TSW Database offers a PayPal donate button and a Patreon subscription for users who wish to voluntarily support our website. These are entirely optional.
  • Non-Commercial Service: TSW Database remains a free, non-commercial service. Donations and Patreon subscriptions are purely for support and do not grant you any special rights, privileges, or commercial returns on the website beyond what may be explicitly stated on our Patreon page (e.g., early access to content, Discord roles).
  • No Guarantees: While your support is greatly appreciated, we do not guarantee specific content updates, uptime, or future features in exchange for donations or subscriptions.
  • Refunds: Donations are non-refundable. For Patreon subscriptions, refunds will be handled according to Patreon's policies.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • "As Is" Basis: Your use of TSW Database is at your sole risk. Any dispute arising from or relating to the subject matter of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our website after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using TSW Database.
